Pour the infused whiskey from the mason jar directly into the glass. Measure 2 ounces with a jigger (or with your heart). Top with 3-4 ounces of ginger beer. Garnish with a slice of apple. Enjoy. \u003cbr\u003e- Keep pouring the whiskey until it's all gone. (Pace yourself!) Keep the jar and contents of the jar for the next batch.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e2nd use:\u003c\/strong\u003e When the first batch is gone, add whiskey and 12 grams of sugar. Demerara is ideal but any sugar will do. Tighten the lid and patiently wait 3 days.\u003cbr\u003e- Now the infused whiskey is ready to be enjoyed. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e3rd use:\u003c\/strong\u003e When the second batch of \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003ewhiskey is gone, the jar ingredients make a lovely, low ABV soda. Add soda water to the jar, filling it up. Add 12 grams of sugar (or less). Gently stir until the sugar is dissolved. \u003cbr\u003e- Now pour your flavored seltzer over ice in a highball glass. Makes two 4-ounce servings.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e4th use:\u003c\/strong\u003e Now that you've enjoyed your soda, these ingredients have a final life as a simmer pot. In a small saucepan, add 1-2 cups of water. Add the ingredients of the jar and simmer on low heat.
